I installed the 30 inch light bar on my Ford F-250 XLT over the weekend. We use this vehicle for towing, not off road use, and specifically purchased this product because it is relatively unobtrusive on the grill, and offers amber marker lights. The product itself has a very high-quality feel, all metal, no plastic anywhere. The fitment tolerances are very tight and sturdy. I didn't want to change the look of the truck too much, which is why we went with M&R instead of another brand. This light bar blends very nicely with the overall look of the vehicle, and fits perfectly in the groove in the front bumper.

During installation I had a small amount if trouble getting everything to line up. I sent an email to M&R, wondering if I had the wrong brackets. Mike from M&R called me about 15 mins later, and I was able to resolve the issue. Basically, user error on my part - One of the plastic clips for the engine block heater wiring harness had gotten pinched between the M&R bracket and the frame, which threw everything out of alignment. After figuring this out, the rest of installation was very easy. The included wiring harness is just long enough to connect to the auxiliary switches on the truck.

The white lights are extremely bright and definitely not road legal, but will be useful for the occasional times we are pulling into or out of a dark campground at night. The amber marker lights appear about as bright as any of the other amber lights on the truck, and will work very well for towing.

I bought this on a whim after seeing other in SuperDuty FB groups talking about them. I have a 2024 Platinum F250. They shipped like the same day I ordered and had it in just a few days. This is a very solid and quality feeling product. I was pleasantly surprised opening the box and seeing how well it seems to be made. With all the fluff out of the way, lets get to the good stuff.

1.). The mount, WOW. I was a little sketchy on how well this would mount. During loose fit I thought "man this thing is going to rub against my grill, vibrate against the plastic etc. etc. etc.". It was very easy to physically mount. Once I started tightening the screws mounting to the truck and the screws holding the bar to the brackets. It was like magic. Somehow it manages to perfectly aim it (I literally did nothing, just tightened the screws) but more importantly it hovers just above the plastic on the bumper but sits just under the plastic at the bottom of the grill. So it does not rub or vibrate against anything. I can't tell you how awesome that is.

I wired it to my 1 and 2 up-fitter switches that I leave on all the time. I have the harness/plug under my air cleaner box that I was able to tap to pull voltage off the bright lights of the truck (Pin 8 on the connector). I ran this to a relay that triggers when my brights are on and completes the circuit to power from the #1 up-fitter switch. This way I don't accidentally blind folks as I use the auto bright feature on the truck, but I can force it on if I desire or completely disable it and just run the orange glow if I want.

2.). The light output is very impressive. I was not sure what to expect with the outer LEDs having a fogged lens and the inner LEDs have a clear lens, basically making the outer ones floods and the inner ones spots. But HOLY smokes, this thing lights up the road. More importantly it does not just burn a hole into the darkness down the road, it also lights up the whole area in directly in front of the truck and way out to the sides. I have had lights that shine further into the distance, but always at a cost of close illumination and I suppose I could try to aim it up some to achieve more throw, but frankly its perfect that way it sits by default.

I can't say enough good things about this LED bar. I am glad I chose the 30" model as it fits perfectly in the little dip on the front of our bumpers and tucks nicely back from the front.

I like a clean look to my truck. I waited a long time until I found a light that I would be happy with. This light mounted easily and looks like it is meant to be there. It fits the space perfectly and looks great. The white light is super bright and the amber is an awesome running light. The only thing I would change is to add a higher power amber setting for fog.

Like it a lot may look at ditch lights next
