This thing is awesome. Saves you the trouble of powering the controller by a fuse + going through the firewall. Will only buy this kit from now on on future builds.
Super simple to install, the fuses were stuck in the epoxy and some broke when removed. Would like to see some identification for buttons, but that’s just being nit picky, it works well easy to use and saved me tearing the dash apart. Will be purchasing again in the future for the wife’s vehicle.
Excellent product and easy installation. I turned box 180 degrees so it was over the battery to give access to all fuses in existing fuse box
Excellent product and easy install
Let me start off by saying that this review is not only review of the product but also Mike’s customer service and punctuation.
Wireless Harness is very easy to install especially if you have enough real estate in the engine bay for the box. I installed mine right on top of the fuse box because it was most suitable spot in my engine bay. Wiring is super straight forward. Simple wiring instructions are included. Plus there are many videos right on the M&R website to check out installation steps and familiarize yourself. I had an issue at first not having any power to the auxiliary lights BUT that was purely user error. I did not pair the remote control properly with the wireless harness. I called Mike and walked him through the issue. He immediately knew what I did wrong and walked me through step by step to resolve it. Before you know it the project was done. I strongly recommend this product for these main reasons; you don’t want to drill through the firewall to run wires, and you would like to run multiple auxiliary lights and accessories on your vehicle.
