Ford Super Duty Fog Lights, Done Right: A Bolt-On Kit for the 2023+ F-250/F-350/F-450

2023-2026 Ford Super Duty F-250/F-350/F-450 off-road LED fog light kit lit white and amber at dusk in the desert

The Ford Super Duty is built to work in the dark — plowing before dawn, towing down a fire road, running the ranch at night. But the factory fog lights were never meant to keep up with what the truck can actually do. They're a soft, short pool of light exactly where you need reach and spread the most. This kit fixes that: a complete, bolt-on replacement for the Super Duty's factory fogs that puts out serious light and looks like it came from the factory.

Here's the full breakdown of the 2023–2026 Super Duty (F-250 / F-350 / F-450) fog light kit — what's in it, how it performs, and how it installs.

Why upgrade the Super Duty's fog lights?

Factory fog lights are tuned for one thing: a little extra light close to the truck on a lit road. The moment you leave pavement, that's not enough. A real fog upgrade does two jobs at once — it throws a wide, low wall of light to fill the foreground and the edges of the trail (dust, weather, the ditch), and it adds distance the factory fogs never had. This kit does both, on both sides, and swaps in without cutting or drilling.

What makes this kit different

This isn't a single pod dropped into the bumper. It's a complete, engineered replacement — and the details are where it earns its keep.

3D-printed shrouds, molded for the bumper

Each side gets a custom 3D-printed shroud (driver and passenger specific) that seats into the factory fog opening for a clean, integrated, OEM-style look — no gaps, no zip-tied pods. They're printed to fit the Super Duty's bumper and hold the pods at the right angles.

Two PRO pods per side — fog spread and driving distance

Each shroud runs two PRO pods, four across the kit, so you get close, wide coverage and long-distance throw at the same time:

  • A 20-watt pod in a fog beam — a wide spread that fills the foreground and the sides of the trail (Luminus SST-20 LEDs, 6000K).
  • A 40-watt pod in a driving beam — distance and throw down the road.

Dual color, PRO build

Pick a White + Amber DRL or Yellow + Amber DRL setup. White is the brightest all-around beam; yellow cuts through dust, fog, snow, and rain noticeably better. Either way you get a street-safe amber DRL accent. Under the shrouds these are full PRO-grade optics — a TIR lens, 304-aluminum housing, thermal management, and a 50,000-hour rating.

What's in the kit

  • (2) 20w LED pods and (2) 40w LED pods — four PRO pods total
  • (2) 3D-printed fog light shrouds (driver and passenger)
  • (2) metal brackets and all mounting hardware
  • (1) wiring harness that links both sides
  • (2) H11 factory adapter wiring connectors

How to install the Super Duty fog light kit — step by step

It's a true bolt-on — no cutting, no drilling, and it reuses your factory fog openings. Plan on an evening with basic hand tools, and use the full video below as your reference.

  1. Prep the truck. Park on level ground, engine off, parking brake set. Disconnect the negative battery terminal before any wiring.
  2. Remove the factory fog lights. Release the stock fog units from the bumper using the factory clips and hardware, and unplug the factory H11 connector.
  3. Build up the shrouds. Seat the 20w and 40w pods into the driver- and passenger-side 3D-printed shrouds on the included metal brackets.
  4. Mount into the factory openings. Drop each shroud into the factory fog opening and secure it with the factory hardware — no drilling.
  5. Plug in and link the sides. Use the included H11 factory adapters to tap the factory fog wiring, and run the included harness that connects the driver and passenger sides together and extends into the engine bay.
  6. Connect to power. Wire to your factory AUX switches, or to the M&R wireless harness (more below). The white/yellow main beams go to a switch; the amber DRL can run to an ignition/constant source as a running light.
  7. Aim, tighten, and test. Reconnect the battery, test the main beam and amber DRL on both sides, fine-tune the aim, and snug everything down.

Wiring & control — how it all connects

The wiring is the part people worry about most, so here's exactly how the kit goes together — plain and simple. Everything you need to connect the lights comes in the box; there's nothing to cut.

The pieces that handle the wiring

  • The pods. Each shroud's 20-watt and 40-watt pods have their own leads.
  • The wiring harness. This is the backbone — it ties the driver and passenger sides together into a single run and extends from the bumper into the engine bay, so you only have one connection point to deal with.
  • (2) H11 factory adapters. These match your Super Duty's factory fog-light connectors (the H11 plug), so the kit plugs into your factory fog wiring without cutting or splicing anything.

How it flows, front to back

  1. Pods to shroud. The 20w and 40w pods on each side connect into their shroud's leads.
  2. Side to side. The included harness joins the driver and passenger shrouds together and carries a single lead back into the engine bay.
  3. Into the truck. From the engine bay, that lead connects to power (your three options are below), and the H11 adapters let you plug into the factory fog connectors along the way — no factory wires are cut.

Choose how you power it

  1. Factory AUX / upfitter switches. If your Super Duty has AUX switches, run the harness to an AUX output. This is the cleanest, most OEM-style control — the lights switch right from the dash.
  2. Generic add-on harness. No AUX switches and you'd rather wire it traditionally? You can source a generic relay/switch harness (Amazon/eBay) or build your own to power the lights off the battery with an in-cab switch.
  3. M&R Wireless 8-Switch Harness — the easy button. No AUX switches, and no wires run through the firewall. The Wireless 8-Switch Harness powers the lights from a rechargeable, magnetic wireless remote in the cab and runs up to 8 accessories total, so it also covers a light bar, ditch lights, or anything else you add later. For most people, this is the simplest, cleanest install.

Main beam vs. amber DRL — wire them differently

Each pod is dual-function, so you have two circuits to think about. Wire the white or yellow main beam to a switch (AUX, add-on, or wireless) so it only comes on when you flip it — those beams are off-road use only. Wire the amber DRL to a constant or ignition-on source so it runs as a street-safe daytime accent whenever the truck is on. That combination gives you a legal daytime look and full-power light on demand.

Is it street-legal?

The amber DRL accent is street-safe — it gives off little light and won't blind oncoming traffic, so you can run it on the road. The high-output white and yellow main beams are for off-road use only. Use them on the trail, the job site, and private property, and switch to your factory lighting on public roads.

FAQ: Ford Super Duty Fog Lights

Which trucks does this fit?
The 2023–2026 Ford Super Duty — F-250, F-350, and F-450. Running a 2020–2022 Super Duty? We build separate kits for that generation; check the Super Duty collection for your year.

Do I have to cut or drill?
No. It's a complete bolt-on that reuses the factory fog openings and hardware, and plugs in through included H11 factory adapters — no factory wires are cut.

What's the beam setup?
Each side runs a 20-watt fog pod for wide spread and a 40-watt driving pod for distance — four PRO pods total — in your choice of White + Amber DRL or Yellow + Amber DRL.

White or yellow?
White is the brightest all-around beam; yellow cuts through dust, fog, snow, and rain better with less glare-back. Both include the street-safe amber DRL.

How do I power it?
Three ways: factory AUX switches, a generic add-on harness, or the M&R Wireless 8-Switch Harness for switch-free control with no firewall drilling. The included harness links both sides and reaches the engine bay; the H11 adapters plug into the factory fog connectors.
