How to install the Tremor fog light kit — step by step
This is a true bolt-on: no cutting, no drilling, and fully reversible. Plan on roughly one to two hours with basic hand tools (a socket set and a trim/panel tool are all you need). Reference the full video below as you go.
- Prep the truck. Park on level ground, engine off, parking brake set. Before touching any wiring, disconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Remove the factory fog lights. Locate the stock fog housings in the modular bumper. Release the factory clips and bolts, unplug the OEM connector, and set the factory units aside — nothing here is permanent, so keep them if you ever want to revert.
- Identify driver vs. passenger. The shrouds are side-specific. Dry-fit each one first and confirm the 20w fog pod sits outboard (angled outward) and the 40w driving pod sits inboard/straight before you bolt anything down.
- Seat and secure the shrouds. Drop each 3D-printed shroud into the factory fog opening. Because it's molded for the Tremor bumper, it lines up with the same mounting points — reuse the factory bolts and clips to lock it in. No drilling.
- Route the wiring. Run each pod's leads back toward your control source, keeping the harness clear of moving parts, the exhaust, and any pinch points. Secure it along the way.
- Connect to power.
