  • No cutting or drilling required. The kit is a complete bolt on using factory openings and hardware.
  • Install is very simple, you don't need to remove the grille

 

👍Our light kits are for off-road use only.

Choose your light bars colors:

1) White LED -- 11,760 lumens, bright and powerful. It will definitely provide you with enough light needed for all of your adventures. However, these are only for off-roading and can’t be used on the regular road. They will blind the in-coming traffic and also violates road safety.

2) Amber LED -- 5,500 lumens, used in poor driving conditions such as dust, fog, snow and rain. It reflects through air particles much less than the white light. Therefore, making it ideal for poor driving conditions.

3) dual function: main White LED light with Amber DRL backglow -- the white LED light is same as described above, but the amber DRL “daytime running lights” acts purely for aesthetics. It doesn’t give out much light, but more of a beautiful amber backglow. Since it doesn’t give out much light, you can use this amber DRL feature on regular roads, it doesn't blind in-coming traffic.

WIRING

  • M&R Automotive doesn’t provide a wiring harness. 
  • The light bar has 6ft of wire. 
  • You will need to purchase a generic wiring harness from Amazon/Ebay or create your own. In the video, we decided to try something new and use a wireless wiring harness (link below). It was pretty cool and much easier to do the wiring instead of having to bring the button through the firewall to control the light bar on/off.

  • We now sell Wireless 8 Circuit Wiring Harness. This makes install much easier if you don't have AUX switches. No need to run any wires through the firewall, clean install.

2021 CHEVY COLORADO 40" Lightbar w/Wireless Wiring Harness

Purchased the M&R Wireless Wiring Harness to go with my M&R Single 40" Dual Function Light Bar w/amber DRL back glow LEDs. Decided to take this project on after watching the YouTube Video. I initially purchased the generic wiring harness recommended in the M&R video from Amazon, but then discovered the wireless harness before I started the installation. I returned the generic Amazon harness and purchased the M&R wireless harness. Set back my installation by a couple of weeks. Disassembly of my Colorado front end was relatively straight-forward, but took me much longer to reassemble than I expected to get everything back to perfect. The 'wireless wiring harness' was a very simple installation and the information provided (video/written) was perfect. That portion of the installation was probably accomplished in 20 minutes, once I decided how I would mount the harness box. Not having to breach the firewall of the truck was a plus I really liked and my BulletPoint Mounting system that I use for my phones was very adaptable to mounting the wireless controller in a central location. Overall, I'm very pleased with the quality of both M&R products I purchased and their warranty was better to similar light bars or bull bumpers I was considering. I'm sure I will be using the expandability of the harness for ditch lights and bed lighting. AAA+++

I really appreciate this detailed review. I'm glad we were able to bring up your confidence to be able to do the install yourself through our YouTube videos. Those videos are long and tidious to make, plus the editing takes a while, so I really appreciate that you watched and learned. Totally agree with the Wireless harness, it really cuts down the install time. Trucks looks nice.
