The Ford Bronco 40in Light Bar PRO — Built for Your Bumper (Modular, Capable, or Standard)

2021-2026 Ford Bronco Modular Bumper 40in Light Bar PRO lit white — curved bolt-on LED light bar on the front bumper

The Ford Bronco has one of the best front ends in the business for a light bar — squared-off, upright, and unmistakable. Our 40-inch PRO is the flagship bar for it: a curved, high-output LED that sits slim across the top of the bumper for a built-in look, not a bolted-on afterthought.

There's just one thing you have to get right first — your bumper. The Bronco ships with three different front bumpers, so we build the 40in PRO in three bumper-specific versions: Modular, Capable, and Standard. Same bar, same output, same $604.99 — the bracket and curve are matched to your exact bumper so it fits like it belongs. Here's how to pick the right one, plus everything the PRO does.

First: which bumper do you have?

This is the one thing to nail down before ordering. All three fit the 2021–2026 Ford Bronco and all three bolt on top of the bumper with no cutting or drilling — but each bar is curved for a specific bumper. Here's how to tell them apart:

  • Modular Bumper — the steel off-road bumper with removable end caps at the corners. It's what comes on Badlands, Wildtrak, and Sasquatch-equipped Broncos, and it's the same bumper as the Bronco Raptor. If your corners unbolt and it's steel, you have the modular.
  • Capable Bumper — Ford's available steel accessory bumper. More minimal and exposed than the standard plastic bumper, with its own curvature. A factory-offered upgrade rather than base equipment.
  • Standard Bumper — the base bumper (body-color or textured plastic) that wraps fully around the front. If it's plastic and came stock on a Base, Big Bend, or Outer Banks, this is you.

Still not 100% sure? Snap a photo of your front bumper and send it over before you order — we'll confirm the right kit for you.

What makes it the PRO

Whichever bumper you have, the bar itself is identical — our top-tier PRO build:

  • TIR optic lens. A Total Internal Reflection lens collects the LED output and directs it exactly where you need it, cutting glare and throwing farther than a standard reflector bar.
  • Combo beam. Blends spot and driving optics for a balance of distance and width.
  • Dual color. Choose a White or Yellow off-road main beam — both run alongside a street-safe amber DRL backglow.
  • Built to last. 304-aluminum housing with UV powder coat, a thermal-management system that adjusts output with temperature, and a 50,000-hour rating.

Draw is modest for the output: 10.42A on the white or yellow main beam, and just 0.25A for the amber DRL.

White or yellow?

White is the brightest, crispest, longest-throwing beam — the all-around pick. Yellow cuts through dust, fog, snow, and rain far better with less glare-back, so it's the move if you run bad weather. Both include the amber DRL, which puts out little light and won't blind oncoming traffic — a bold, street-safe daytime signature that owners love pairing with the Bronco's backlit grille emblems. The white and yellow main beams are for off-road use only.

Installation

All three versions are a complete bolt-on — no cutting, no drilling, and no removing the grille or bumper. The bar mounts on top of your bumper using factory openings and the included powder-coated black brackets. Most owners have it on in an evening with basic hand tools. Prefer the bar up high? The modular version can also be windshield-mounted the same way, if you'd rather run it on the A-pillars than the bumper.

Wiring & control

The bar comes with over 6 feet of wire — enough to reach your Bronco's AUX switch wiring if it's equipped. If your Bronco doesn't have AUX switches, you can source a generic harness (Amazon/eBay) or build your own.

The easy route is the Wireless 8-Switch Harness — it powers the bar with no AUX switches and no wires run through the firewall, from a rechargeable magnetic remote in the cab. Wire the white/yellow main beam to a switch (off-road only) and the amber DRL to a constant/ignition source so it runs as a daytime light. Here's the connection guide:

What Bronco owners are saying

The 40in PRO averages 5.0 stars — and the reviews show it landing on every kind of Bronco:

"Installed on my 2025 Bronco Outer Banks. Easy and clean installation." — T.M. (Standard bumper)

FAQ: Ford Bronco 40in Light Bar PRO

How do I know which bumper I have?
Modular = steel with removable end caps (Badlands, Wildtrak, Sasquatch, and shared with the Raptor). Capable = Ford's available steel accessory bumper. Standard = the base body-color/plastic bumper. Not sure? Send us a photo and we'll confirm.

Does the modular kit fit a Bronco Raptor?
Yes. The Bronco Raptor and the modular-bumper Bronco share the same bumper, so the modular kit fits both.

Do I have to remove the grille or bumper?
No. All three bolt on top of the bumper using factory openings and hardware — no cutting or drilling.

White or yellow?
White is the brightest all-around beam; yellow cuts through dust, fog, snow, and rain better. Both include the street-safe amber DRL.

How do I power it?
It has 6+ feet of wire to reach factory AUX switches. No AUX? Use the M&R Wireless 8-Switch Harness — no firewall drilling — or a generic harness.

Can I mount it on the windshield instead?
The modular version can be windshield-mounted the same way if you'd rather run it up high.
