- No cutting or drilling required. The kit is a complete bolt on using factory openings and hardware.
- WILL NOT interfere with active grille shutters. The light bars are very slim and the metal bracket is designed to be in front of the shutters.
- Metal bracket is powder coated black
- For wiring, you can choose to have all 4 light bars together on one switch. OR Can wire them in pairs, which is especially nice if you have a pair of white and a pair of amber. This allows you to have full control over what light you want to turn on.

Choose your light bars color:
1) White LED -- Each light bar provides up to 3,700 lumens, bright and powerful. It will definitely provide you with enough light needed for all of your adventures. However, these are only for off-roading and can’t be used on the regular road. They will blind the in-coming traffic and also violates road safety.
2) Amber LED -- Each light bar provides up to 2,220 lumens, used in poor driving conditions such as dust, fog, snow and rain. It reflects through air particles much less than the white light. Therefore, making it ideal for poor driving conditions.
3) dual function: main White LED light with Amber DRL backglow -- the white LED light is same as described above, but the amber DRL “daytime running lights” acts purely for aesthetics. Since it doesn’t give out much light, you can use this amber DRL feature on regular roads, it doesn't blind in-coming traffic.

WIRING
- M&R Automotive doesn’t provide a wiring harness.
- The light bars have 6ft of wire which is enough to reach AUX switches if your truck has them. Otherwise, you will need to purchase a generic wiring harness from Amazon/Ebay or create your own.
- We sell a wireless wiring harness that delivers a clean, hassle-free install—no need to run wires into the cab.

I was trying to save some $$ by installing a cheap kit I had found online, and had to cut up my Expedition's grille a fair bit. Well, the cheap-o lights STILL wouldn't fit, so I bit the bullet and spent the money for the M&R kit. I should have gone with M&R from the start, and ended up installing the M&R lights using the holes and brackets I had already cut. There's a reason the M&R kit has a premium price -- it just plain works! If I ever need to do it again I'll save myself a lot of time and effort by going with M&R, no questions asked.
I was really excited to find these lights bars for my 2023 Ford Expedition. I spent several months searching the internet for options. These lights bars look amazing in DRL Amber and the white is bright I couldn’t be happier! I worked with Mike from M&R to get all my questions answered. I highly recommend M&R!
